Malaysia Airlines launches a third daily Surabaya–KL service, enhancing ASEAN connectivity and travel convenience.
Surabaya, 12 November 2025 – Malaysia Airlines is making history in Indonesia with the launch of a third daily service between Surabaya and Kuala Lumpur, marking the first time the airline will operate three flights in a single day* from East Java. The inaugural flight MH7274 from Surabaya Juanda International Airport (SUB) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) on 12 December 2025 marked the launch of the airline’s additional daily frequency and departed at 3:50pm local time accompanied by a lively send-off event. To celebrate the occasion, passengers received limited-edition merchandise and participated in a ceremonial cake cutting. The return flight MH7275 arrived in SUB at 2:50pm local time, where passengers were greeted with mini rose hand bouquets.
